impausable

Following my visit to the bank, I took a little time for a quick coffee break, but time today isn't based on counters, boiling kettles, the passage of the sun or the phases of the moon, it has little to do with atomic clocks or digital interrupts, in our 'time poor' western society, it's really concerned with activity levels, task completions, time commitments and more and more often outcomes & results - can you remember the last time you had the opportunity of being bored ? or indeed when you 'got the time' to do something you loved and enjoyed just for the sake of participation, rather than reward or satisfaction - I'm attempting to resolve these things just now (with two sugars please).

In the past, I've successfully completed several periods of practical research on these matters, from living the power of now to implementing hardline hardnosed time management techniques in a corporate environment, my extracurricular exploration of quantum physics theory eventually led to simply staring at the sea or night sky in awe. The results are inevitably the same, implicit empirical and practical proof that you are better served simply just ‘getting on with it’ and going with the flow of time rather than gorging yourself on it’s abstract complexities, time has a way of presenting you with contemplative fractures – the bain of today’s pace conscious society, ‘the queue’ which actually provides me with welcome intervals to appreciate those pauses and their wait for liberation from time.
